Our mission and values
Espaço de Vida is an international social art initiative that arises from the desire to heal people and the earth. Espaço de Vida has many charities in one project: We want to show clearly that an Ecovillage or ecological community, which is well organized, offers a total solution to numerous problems and challenges in a world ruled by banks, governments and multinationals. Have originated. We want to offer people who, for various reasons, want to work together more with nature, or even have to live and work. We want this together. We want to give people the opportunity to live according to natural laws and to restore nature where possible. The latter means, among other things, planting trees and getting the groundwater arrow back in order, particularly in southern Portugal.
Our organization started more than 15 years ago in the vicinity of Zutphen where a group of people have repeatedly made efforts to realize an Ecodorp. We have become much richer in experience and wisdom through all attempts to achieve something without starter capital and to fight against bureaucratic interests and lack of money. Because of this we are now ready to realize the well thought-out plan in Portugal.
Our core team
'Espaço de Vida' is a project initiated by people with social and artistic ideals. We strive for balance between thinking and doing with the emphasis on 'doing what you think and think about what you do'. We are convinced that there is no time left to lose anything that can lead people further away from his goal. Think of jungle felling, computer games, self-driving cars, warfare, oil drilling, fracking, robots and other foliosities at the expense of all life. We have been thinking and working on matters that we believe urgently ask to be realized, right now, in our time. Well-considered plans for peaceful community formation are the starting point.
